First ship modeling experience in mid-eighties, built a veritable fleet of Heller 1/400 ships that has meanwhile been scrapped. A short period of R/C model ships followed, but was abandoned with joining the Navy. After a break of over 15 years, rediscovered the old hobby - again, started with old Heller kits. Soon, the “glue and paint” approach was unsatisfactory, an airbrush appeared, then PE and the focus on full hull 1/350 scale RN and DKM WW II warships.
